Activists in Pacific Northwest Face Off Against Largest Oil-By-Rail Terminal in North America

In December, Congress lifted the 40-year ban on exporting US crude oil. Now, a Pacific Northwest coalition of Indigenous groups, environmentalists and others is facing off against a proposed oil-by-rail terminal, which would be the largest in North America and contribute to further carbon emissions, advocates say.
