Earth Day: Meet the world on the National Mall April 18th‏

2015 could be the most important year in environmental history since 1970 when the first Earth Day kick-started the modern environmental movement.

This is the year to pressure world leaders to pass a binding climate change treaty and commit to ending global poverty.  Join 1 billion people to stand up, speak up and sign up to create change.

What do you need to do this Earth Day?

Stand up! Join us on the Washington Monument Grounds in Washington, D.C. on April 18th  as we call for action. Adding star power to over 250,000 citizens, leaders, and activists rallying for change will be No Doubt, Usher, Fall Out Boy, Mary J. Blige, Train, Common and many more!

Speak up! Host your own Earth Day event. Use our Leadership Guide to plan action-packed Earth Day events. Organize local meetings, launch petition drives, plant trees, clean up parks and rivers, confront toxic dangers where you live, and get your kids involved, too! Earth Day events call on citizens and leaders to take responsibility, step up and ACT NOW on climate.

Sign up! Join the largest climate petition to save the world. Tell local, national and international leaders to phase out carbon.

Earth Day Network, the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, works year round to support civic engagement, and right now we’re ramped up for action. Add your voice. We need you now.
