The ProLibertad Freedom Campaign wishes all our supporters and allies a wonderful New year! As we enter 2010, Carlos Alberto Torres has yet to be released on parole and Avelino Gonzalez Claudio is being denied medical attention and has not had a trial date set.

Our Puerto Rican Political Prisoners need our support now more then ever. We challenge you to do something/anything for the Puerto Rican Political Prisoners! It doesn't have to be a big project, event or campaign. The more work we do within our communites and among our friends the more powerful our movement will become!

You can:

--Write a poem dedicated to them and perform/publish it
--Organize a workshop on the Puerto Rican Political Prisoners at your school/church/union/HOME
--Organize a letter writing night with some of your friends and invite soemone from ProLibertad to tlak to your guest
--Forward out our campaign updates and actions to all your friends online
--Buy the CD compliation created by the Puerto Rican Freedom Project (www.prfreedomproject.org)
--Download ProLibertad literature and give it out or put on literature tables in your neighborhood
