Germany: Solidarity with Leonard Peltier

On September 11th, the Society for Threatened Peoples will hold a vigil on the Pariser Platz in Berlin; trying to get as close as possible to the U.S. Embassy.

STP does not know yet where exactly the police will permit supporters to stand; STP will be informed sometime next week. STP is trying to mobilise as many people as possible to join them.
Radio Corax, a community radio which airs in several cities in eastern Germany, will have a special one-hour broadcast about the Peltier case on September 11 including an interview they made with Yvonne Bangert of STP.

On Friday, Sept. 11th, the German LPSG (Tokata - LPSG RheinMain) will assemble in front of the US Embassy in Frankfurt.

The group also will participate in information events in context with other social movements (against Frankfurt Airport expansion, a nationwide demonstration of the no-nuke-movement, and together with the German Mumia Solidarity Movement). The group also will contribute articles on Leonard's situation to German newspapers.
