Support groups around the world are organizing solidarity events and actions in conjunction with Leonard Peltier’s 65th birthday, September 12 2009.
In Vancouver, a group of supporters will gather at the corner of Broadway and Commercial to hold a smudge and prayer circle, holding up signs showing their support for clemency for Leonard Peltier.
U.S. groups are calling for President Obama to make good his promises to Native Americans during his campaign.
